The journey continues...

We are moved by the events that are currently taking place in the world - politically, socially and ecologically. Seeing in how many places outdated patterns are at work motivates us all the more to continue our work.
We want to bring more understanding, compassion and, above all, basic knowledge about the human nature into this world.

That is why we will continue to explore with you this year how an accepting and trauma-sensitive coexistence can succeed and how it can be integrated into everyday life....

....stable, regulated and anchored within ourselves, well prepared for everything that awaits us this year.

This is what this newsletter is about:

1. Our workshop journey now has three stages!

So far, Part 2 had been very packed, as we tried to cover two major topics in it. As a result, "trauma" and "co-regulation" have never been given the space they actually deserve....

Now it feels more rounded: With our new Part 3, we dedicate an entire workshop to "co-regulation", while Part 2 remains focussed on "trauma" and related topics.

An English version is not yet planned, but have a look at the next item in this newsletter - there you can register for our waiting list :)

Now, brief descriptions and links to the (German) three parts will follow.

Teil 1: 07.02 und 14.03.25 Teil 2: 21.02. und 28.03.25 Teil 3: 28.02. und 11.04.25 Beschreibungen zu den drei Workshops wie auf dem Flyer abgebildet: Seitenübergreifend auf die ganze Workshopreihe bezogen: " In allen drei Workshops..." "... bekommst du ein Handout & die Powerpoint ." und "... legen wir viel Wert auf die Balance zwischen Theorie und PraxisAlle Inhalte werden durch greifbare Bilder veranschaulicht & durch spielerische Übungen und Austausch direkt erfahrbar gemacht." Detaillierte Beschreibungen: Teil 1: Kämpfen, Fliehen, Einfrieren: Wie komme ich zurück in meine Mitte? "Oft bringt uns Stress in bestimmte Verhaltensmuster: z.B. Kampf / Flucht / Erstarren oder Kollaps. Wir zeigen dir in diesem 4h Workshop, wie du die Zustände deines Nervensystems selbst erkennen, annehmen und verändern kannst. Außerdem eröffnen wir Raum für Reflektion, Austausch und ein wertschätzendes Miteinander. Am Ende nimmst du konkrete Werkzeuge mit, um das Gelernte im Alltag anzuwenden. " Teil 2: Trauma, Trigger, Projektion: Wie geht’s zurück ins Miteinander? "Manchmal fühlen wir uns plötzlich unerklärlich tief traurig oder geraten immer wieder in gleiche Konflikte. Dahinter stecken oft alte Muster und ungelöster alter Stress. In diesem Teil beleuchten wir die Entstehung und mögliche Auswirkungen von Trauma, sowie Beziehungsdynamiken und üben den liebevollen, annehmenden Umgang mit unseren inneren Anteilen - und erkunden damit den ersten Schritt auf dem Weg der 'Heilung' von Trauma. " Teil 3: Pendeln, Erden, Integrieren: Wege in die Co-Regulation "Den krönenden Abschluss bildet dieser Teil, indem es ganz um das Miteinander geht. Wir vermitteln Wissen und schaffen einen Übungsraum für einen leichteren Umgang mit Beziehungsdynamiken und Kommunikationschaos. Der Fokus liegt hier auf der Co-Regulation (Unterstützung für die Regulation des Nervensystems eines anderen anbieten). Es wird viel Übungsraum geben, indem du die Co-Regulationsmethoden direkt ausprobieren kannst. "

In this workshop journey you will get to know your nervous system and its reactions and states in a playful way.

Part 1: Fight, Flight, Freeze:
How can I return to feeling grounded?


What is stress? - What does it do to the nervous system? - How can I notice becoming overwhelmed at an early stage?
Part 2: Trauma, Trigger, Projection:
How can we get back into connection?


What if I can't resolve being overwhelmed? - Why do some situations keep repeating themselves? - What do we need to develop healthily?
Part 3: Pendulate, Resonate, Integrate: Pathways into co-regulation

How can we support each other? - What do we need for a relaxed, nurturing connection? - How can we create a safe space for open self-expression?

2. English workshop journey (Waiting list)

We currently have no english events planned. However, they will take place and you can influence when this should happen!
First register for our waiting list (and feel free to ask around...). As soon as we have enough interested people (at least 4 participants, but we would prefer 6 or more), we will create a date survey (only we will see your answer and your name).

Note that the Website version in English is still not reflecting the change to three parts.
We might not get around to changing that before an English event grows closer.

Also note that in the German newsletter, in this spot here is instead a call for people waiting for an online version of the workshop. We don't have an extra waiting list for an English Online version, so if that is what you are looking for, feel free to write us an e-mail :)

3. Changes to Authentic Relating and Brainfood


As described in "Autumn's Newsletter", the Tuesday evening courses did not get off to a good start and we had to make a few changes.

As a result, we have only been booking two Tuesdays a month since January. Contrary to our previous thinking, we have decided to only offer "Authentic Relating Games" evenings for the time being.

"Brainfood" will no longer take place for the time being. If you are interested in being put on a waiting list, please contact Ben.

Furthermore, we started to dedicate each "Authentic Relating Games" evening to one or two topics. So far we have had the topics "Transitions and new beginnings" (at New Year), "Boundaries and needs" and "Anger and Trust".
As requested, we will be repeating "Boundaries and Needs" on 18th of February.

All our Authentic Relating Games evenings can be held in German and English if necessary, including this one-

We are happy to receive requests and suggestions for the last Tuesday date (14th of March). We are also happy to repeat other topics if there are such requests.

Starting this March, we will offer Authentic Relating Games less frequently. Instead, it will be at better times (possibly at the weekend or on Friday evenings) and, above all, longer - 3-4 hours, so that not only our programme of games can take place, but also deeper processes and emotional exchanges, or some well resonating games can go longer than planned.

6. Longer-term plans + orientation

Here we want to give you a small preview of what new ideas we have in store for the coming months :)

The following projects are not yet current due to their scope and we have already addressed them in "Autumn's Newsletter". Please have a look there if you would like to read the details.
  • Workshops for educational institutions + daycare centres
  • Workshops in companies
  • Videos and online courses

1. Open evenings with little to no moderation

We have the great desire to bring people together.

That's why we want to give you (and ourselves) the opportunity and space to exchange ideas, network and be together.

We are thinking of a recurring event (1x/Month or less frequent) with a relaxed evening structure and an openness to what may develop from it.

The exact location and time of these meetings is not yet fixed, we are thankful for suggestions :)

2. Events for refugees/immigrants (and allies)

In some social media groups, we have recently read more and more posts and comments from refugees or other foreign nationals who feel increasingly unsafe in Berlin and Germany.

This makes us very sad, as we very much welcome diversity and can also imagine what it is like to have to flee your home country because of war and then suddenly experience hostility "in safety".

We would like to organise evenings that enable exchange, emotional expression and open communication - preferably with refugees and some of us fellow human beings who are also keen to create an atmosphere of acceptance and welcome.

We would also like to offer our workshop in a slightly different form for refugees in the hope of making it a little easier to deal with difficult situations.

We will contact refugee aid organisations in good time - if anyone has a specific tip, we would be very grateful for it 😊
We are also happy to plan such an event at another location if something fitting comes up.
